Duane Hoover is a musician, songwriter, designer, and visual artist whose career has been shaped by decades of creative exploration. Beginning in Atlanta, Georgia, while attending the Atlanta College of Art, Duane developed a passion for both music and visual art that would become the foundation of his career. As a founding member of his first band, he gained experience performing throughout Atlanta before moving to New York City in search of new artistic opportunities.

In New York, Duane immersed himself in the city's vibrant music and art scene, performing at legendary venues including CBGB, Downtown Beirut, and Spiral. Surrounded by musicians, designers, and artists, he continued to refine his songwriting while developing a visual style that complemented his music. His creative career extended beyond the stage when he joined MTV, contributing to the redesign of programs such as The Week in Rock and MTV Top 20 Countdown. His pop-art silkscreens have also been exhibited in SoHo galleries, further establishing his passion for combining music with visual storytelling.
